Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025

The short version: ComeCloser does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device. We don't know who you are and we don't want to.

Who we are

ComeCloser is developed and published by Perception Labs LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. This privacy policy describes how the ComeCloser iOS application handles information.

Data we do not collect

ComeCloser does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

The app does not connect to any external server. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud component of any kind.

Camera and sensor access

ComeCloser requests access to your device camera and motion sensors (gyroscope and accelerometer) to operate its core functionality. This data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never stored beyond the active session or transmitted anywhere. Camera access is used solely to display and capture the live warped preview. Motion data is used solely for horizon detection.

You may revoke camera or motion permissions at any time in iOS Settings. The app requires camera access to function.

Third-party SDKs and analytics

ComeCloser does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. No third party receives any data derived from your use of this app.

Children

ComeCloser does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. We will not retroactively change practices for data already collected — though since we collect nothing, that distinction is largely academic.
