ComeCloser requires iOS 16 or later and works on iPhone XS and newer. The live preview uses Metal GPU acceleration, so older devices are not supported.

The effect intensity is controlled by the depth map computed from your scene. In very flat or low-contrast scenes the effect will be subtle. Try scenes with a clear foreground-to-background depth range for the most noticeable result.
